My name is Jessica or Jess to my friends, and I have been writing since the fifth grade. I am an avid reader too, and that is another reason why I became a writer so I can write the books I want to read. I finished my first novel 5 years ago, and it took me years to complete. When self-publishing came about I released The Killer Contract Agency, and it sold 11 copies total. I pulled it off after making things better, and I wrote and published a short story collection. I even released a dark poetry ebook too, and I did it because of the control. I started working retail a few years ago and found it so stupid I made fun of it in the novella Being a Vampire in Retail Sucks. That is also how Tales From Behind the Counter was created, and I used real customer stories from the notebooks I have in my pocket. I’m writing another series and it’s about witches and angels this time. I write young adult, poetry, new adult, and paranormal fantasy and contemporary fantasy. I love watching movies, television shows and playing role-playing video games. I love research and daydreaming about life. Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for my blog posts about my journey to becoming a successful author.
