School and Getting Snowed in…

Advertisements

School has finally started, and I’m happy about that since it means I have a year tops at VCU. I will be graduating in Spring 2017. It feels awesome to almost be done with school. I was hit with snow this past weekend, and it hit us with at least 15 inches. The most we’ve ever seen in a while. I’m pretty much stuck since my car is covered in snow. I’ve also been out of work the past three days since I can’t even get out of my street. I’m taking Graphics for Journalism, Writing for web and Print, Intro to Broadcast Writing, and Audio and Video Journalism. I have to say I love it so far, and my writing will change a long with the quality of my Youtube videos and my Blog. I can even learn how to create newsletters which will be helpful. I haven’t been sitting around doing nothing though. I’ve been working on my journalism homework.
I’ve also been doing research on Audiobooks as well, and instead of getting someone else to do the narration I want to do it myself. Of course, I’m also experimenting with software for it like using Garageband from my MacBook Pro. I’ll write a blog post about the process as well and tell people about my experiences with it. I took some time to clean up my room, and gathered up all my work notebooks to use in future stories. I’m still waiting to hear back from a reader about Scarlet book 1 then I’ll revise accordingly. It might be ready in 3 or 4 months give or take. It’s expensive to publish hence why that will be a topic for another post. Even a Youtube video can be made about it. I want to write some stories to include in anthologies like shorts or novellas. I write all kinds of stories so it’s fun. I just wanted to do a quick update before I work on a few of my stories. I plan on making a notebook with all the rituals in my worlds, and maybe read a few books on the way. I hope you guys are safe.

Are you stuck in the house like I am? What are you doing to pass the time?

Until next time,
