It’s one of the things I love about writing a story. You have to look up the things you are interested in if you need to put it in a story. It’s one of the fun things about being a writer. Looking up information, traveling places, and reading stories to get ideas on how you want to spin myths and legends. One of the things I’ve been researching a lot lately is the military life. I want to base The Killer Contract Agency on it, and make it better then the military which means going to bases, watching Youtube videos which is helpful in research, and even doing tons of research on military res which are meals ready to eat. I even got a hold of a few of them and in turn doing a few reaction videos on Youtube of them. It’s all pretty cool since I’ve been talking to them and discovering that the military is like a different culture since they have their own words for things. It’s all interesting to me, and research is the best part because you do want the details realistic and true. At the same time you can know the facts to twist them a little bit. The summer gives me time to read writing books and write reviews on them. I love the summer time, and eventually I want to write full time too. I’ll be blogging at least three times a week and writing blog posts on the things I’ve learned. The first book I will be talking about is Rise of the Machines: Human Authors in a Digital World by Kristen Lamb. I’ll even be doing writing exercises and putting them on the blog as well.
